STEAM education is an approach to learning that encourages creativity, creates inquiry, promotes critical thinking and requires problem solving. These skills are critical factors for students who will be entering the 21st century job market. The STEAM Lab at Cleveland School is used by students in 5th through 8th grade. During their Four year STEAM journey, students will experience Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Programming, Graphic Art, and multiple real world simulations. One week a student might be designing and building a bridge, the next week they could compose a musical track to publish, after that they might find themselves racing a drone through an obstacle course or coding the next big video game. In the STEAM lab there's something for everyone.
